Most People Only See the Last Step
Every project starts with conversations.
Some clients know exactly what they want. Others have only a few ideas or inspiration photos. My job is to take those pieces and turn them into a design that feels intentional and belongs in the space.
That means studying the architecture, considering lighting, proportions, viewing angles, existing furnishings, and how the artwork will interact with everything around it.
Those decisions aren't visible in the finished mural, but they're the reason the mural feels like it was always meant to be there.
Experience Shapes Every Decision
One of the most valuable things an artist brings isn't simply the ability to paint.
It's the ability to anticipate problems before they happen.
Years of experience make it possible to adjust proportions, simplify areas that would become visually overwhelming, strengthen composition, and make countless small decisions that most people will never notice individually—but will absolutely feel when they walk into the room.
Those decisions can't be copied from a tutorial or generated by software. They come from experience.
The Painting Is Only One Part of the Process
The painting itself is certainly important.
But it's only one stage of a much larger process that includes planning, revisions, problem-solving, communication, and craftsmanship.
By the time I begin painting, the destination is already clear. The brush simply brings that vision to life.
That's what clients are truly investing in—not just paint on a wall, but the confidence that every decision leading up to it has been made with care and purpose.
