This mural combines the hardcore brand and futuristic chemistry that is within the Apollon Nutrition line catering to the fitness industry. Reactive iron ore paint was treated chemically to create a rich rust patina juxtaposed with the Apollon Nutrition logo.
The inventory area of this nutrition line’s office had to not only be functional—as in light, but it also had to be visually appealing should there be visitors. I used the font style from the product names, and painted them near the top of the walls in the brand’s colors. If a visitor came in, he or she would immediately see the names of the product line. I added fake painted diamond plate strips to break up the light gray while adding a hardcore feel.
