Our school family is in love with the mural you painted on the library wall during Children's Book Week. The mural has truly brought the story area to life. The mural has enhanced the library as a literacy rich environment.
After interviewing many artists and previewing their work, I was confident that you were the right choice. While watching you create the mural, students, staff, and the principal knew it, too. We marvel at your extraordinary talent.
Our head custodian was impressed with your work ethic. Every day he told me that you arrived so early that you beat him to the school. You arrived very early and stayed very late. Your time commitment showed the Stillman family that you were as dedicated to the creation of this mural as we were.
Our Art teacher is extremely talented and knowledgeable about many areas of art. She was impressed with your work. She raved about your attention to detail, your color choice, and your craftsmanship. Everday students visit the story area and "get lost" in the mural. I hear them saying to each other, "she did a good job", "wow", "I wish I could go to that beach". Many of our children are artistically talented. Many of these students watched you create their mural. They were very honored that you stopped painting to talk with them about the mural making process. You have provided them with a tangible experience for understanding an artistic process.
I would like to thank you. Thank you for making my vision come true. You successfully incorporated four very specific criteria I gave you to create a phenomenal mural that reflects your artistic vision.
Students and staff have always visited the library to get books or to work with me. Now they visit to sit and read at or simply to "take in" their mural: a mural that happened because of you.

The unique and personal environments you created for my three children are going to be treasured for many years to come.
The animal murals you painted in Matthew's room are so realistic it truly feels like you are in a safari.
Melissa's "Butterfly and Flower" room is so cheerful and bright it brings a a smile to my face everytime I walk through her door. Melissa loves waking up to the smiling sun that greets her when she opens her eyes each morning!
After you completed Melissa's room, I could not imagine how you could paint another room that I would love as much. Well you did it! Julia's carousel nursery is a dream come true. Your idea to paint the ceiling to look like the canopy of the carousel made the room spectacular.
It was a pleasure having you in my home while you worked on all 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is rare to find someone who possesses talent, professionalism, and a wonderful personality. Thank you for sharing your talents with my family.

You know I make my living as an author, so for me to say that I'm speechless is really saying a lot -- but I just have to write to you to tell you what a showstopper your wall mural is. I tell everyone that I am never moving for the rest of my life because I couldn't bear to leave your mural. Everyone who comes into our home and sees the mural just stops and gasps. They really can't believe their eyes. And then of course, everyone wants to know how I was fortunate enough to find such a talented painter. I'm always bragging about you! Then I drag my guests around the rest of my house and show them how I ended up asking you to paint a little something in every room in my house because I knew that once you left my house, I might never get this lucky again. As you know, I did quite a bit of interior decorating in my home. I spent thousands and thousands of dollars on all kinds of things that are deemed essential for good living. I can honestly say that the best buying decision I made in all of my design work was hiring you to paint our mural. The only way I'm ever leaving this house is if they will cut the wall out and install it in my new home, or if I can kidnap you and get you to paint another mural for me in my "retirement home." Marcine, you are a rare talent on this earth. I feel very blessed to have discovered you, and I hope that I will have a good reason to hire you again sometime in the future!
